Monks' residences:

There are four residences for monks at Wearcadi Village Karen temple. It all has been woodened and now ruined by the time, never restored up to now. As knowing, to be convenient for the monk's not necessary and to be easily on the way of the Lord Buddha taught is the monk's path.

No monk asks for the luxuriance in live. They practice in the easy and respectable way, practice themselves in the enlightened way only. Practice to be better in mind is the main objectivity they remind. Therefore the old or non-convenient residences make them nothing the trouble. The main and real their troubles are the loss of mind improvement.

The residence here is just the mind practicing place.
To hide themselves from the rain and the warmth.
To flee themselves from the harmful animals.
And to relax themselves in the time to relax.

Karen poeple like to construct the house and temple with the material finding around their village ground.
No a new technic to construct.
No a new technology to create.
But everything they've constructed most is conservative construction.
It's sometimes very impressive in this time-the time of the new world.

In their residences, no any convenience's appeared.
No even rest-room, no electricity and no water-supply and so on.

There're only their yellow robes, bowls, and others which are essential for monks' life.
The residence's used really for Dharma practice.
Who can live in-in the place apprearing nothing the conveniences?

They couldn't ask for any comfortation.
They have no choice to choose for the comfortable life.
They feel pleased to be.
They're pleased to touch it, the hardship.
Cuz, the hardship teaches them the reality of life.
The real life has never been really happy.
Everything's faked.
We always fake oursefves and our mind.

Even if they worry about nothing the hardship.
It's better to make more the comfortation.
It's better to bring in the comfortation.
It at least may be the comfortability offered can make them easier to Dharma pratice.
Any convenience offered will show them any easier to Dharma practice.
That's our wish.
That's our hope. we always remind "it can be better and the buddhism has to be onwards walked"
